BRASSICAMIDOPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE

Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine is a hair conditioning agent, cationic (when neutralized), with superior properties compared to cetrimonium chloride, behentrimonium chloride, and stearamidopropyl dimethylamine. It provides excellent:

• Hair Lubricity. The material contains a majority of behenyl (C22) compounds that yield superb dry combability without build-up.
• Cationic Charge. Its electrostatic attraction to hair can be tailored by adjusting formulation pH. The lower the pH, the greater its cationic charge.
• Formulation Stability. It can be the primary emulsifier to build high viscosity formulations.

• Leave-on conditioners, styling lotions, and pomades: 0.5% - 1% 
• Co-emulsifier in skin care emulsions: 0.2% - 0.5%
