Hydrolite® 5 green by Symrise is a multifunctional ingredient derived from renewable raw materials from sugar cane, It has the same properties as the original pentylene glycol, Hydrolite® 5. It hydrates the skin and boosts the efficacy of active ingredients used in cosmetic formulations. In addition, it improves both, the look and consistency as well as the protection of the product. Hydrolite® 5 green can be used in a wide range of cosmetics. It is 100% bio-based and COSMOS compliant.
